Terms & Conditions

 

Membership Cancellation Policy:

  • Late cancels will be subject to the following fees which will be billed to the card on file
    • Less than 8 hours – $10
    • Less than 3 hours – $15
    • Less than 1 hour – $20
    • No show – $30

Clients are required to cancel/reschedule classes online and may not call, text or use social media to cancel.

Late notification will result in the above fees being charged to your account. Credit is only given when classes are cancelled with more than 8 hours notice.

Drop-in Cancellation Policy:

Less than 8 hours notice will result in loss of the entire class fee without refund or credit.

General T&C:

 

  • Absolutely no refunds or credits for any reason at any time for classes, workshops or memberships
    • If you choose to sell/transfer your class or workshop to someone else you must notify us in writing with your replacement’s name, phone number and email address
  • 30 days notice required to cancel membership
  • 30 days notice required to change party date/time
  • Friends, guests or family are not allowed to stay on premises in waiting rooms, reception area or lounge
    • Family/friends who are picking up guests must wait outside in the parking lot unless permission is giving on a case by case basis
    • No one under the age of 18 is allowed on premises at any time
  • Lockers are provided for all guests convenience but Movement Evolution Fitness, Inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
    • Bags larger than 6″ x 12″ are not allowed in any training/dance room at any time
    • Guests must provide their own locks for lockers or may purchase one at the desk
  • Absolutely no food or beverages allowed in studios or fitness rooms aside from water in non-glass containers
  • Our premises is protected with safety monitors. Students and employees may or may not be monitored in all areas not prohibited by law.
  • Anyone who appears under the influence of or carries the odor of mood altering substances, both legal and illegal, will not be permitted into the facility and will not be refunded or given credit for any missed services/classes/parties etc.
  • With the exception of parties (see below) at least 8 hours notice is required to cancel classes or services without penalty, forfeit/loss of fees
    • Clients are responsible for cancelling classes and services online through our booking system.
    • Cancellations will not be taken by phone or by text
  • Anyone in possession of a CCW must either lock their weapon in their vehicle or securely in their locker
    • Under no circumstances may any weapons be carried or on your person during classes/training including police officers
  • Use of colognes/perfumes or other strong odors are banned within the facility and you may be asked to leave if the smell is strong and can be smelled by others
  • No pictures or videos can be taken in class or fitness rooms without the instructor/manager’s permission
    • When permission is given, no other students may be in the pictures or videos without that students permission.
    • No students may record or photograph other students/guests in the facility at any time, regardless of permission given by said student without a photo release signed and on file.

Classes and Training additional T&C:

***Membership, class pass and drop-in Terms and Conditions:

  • Must be 18 or over to participate in any of our programs
  • May not be pregnant to participate in aerial programs or aerial group classes
    • Must have a written medical release to participate in gym/fitness programs
  • No refunds or transfers after purchase of any class, package or membership
  • 30 days notice required to cancel all membership packages
  • Memberships begin upon date of purchase and end on the same calendar date the following month
  • No discounts for months with less than 31 calendar days
  • No refunds or credits if closings are required due to inclement weather, internal emergencies, etc. up to 4 x’s per month
  • We will be closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas Day
    • Members should plan on attending a different day during weeks when the holiday falls on the same day as their group classes
  • Memberships in New Lenox may participate in classes in Chicago Heights at any time according to sign up policies.
    • If participating in membership packages at the New Lenox facility members should plan on taking classes at the Chicago Heights location during holiday weeks
  • Some aerial memberships (pole and occasionally lyra) will allow clients to sign up, holding a weekly place in class on preferred day/time/location, no more than 40 days in advance
    • ie: Members may sign up for a month at a time, holding weekly classes every week at the same day/time/location
      • ex: Mondays 6:30pm Chicago Heights or Wednesdays 8pm New Lenox, etc.
    • Changes in scheduled weekly classes may be made no more than 3 weeks in advance but as little as 8 hours in advance without penalty.
    • Clients are responsible for their own schedule changes which will be done by logging into their account.
    • No text or emails will be accepted for cancellation notice
    • Students may place membership on a 30-day hold once per year
      • exception: 30 day holds may not be taken during December and January
      • 30 day membership hold will not guarantee the same day/time in class upon return but will guarantee membership rate

Illness and Injury

  • All injuries, and all illnesses requiring a doctor’s visit/ER/hospital stay will require a written doctor’s release to return to class
    • Includes release after childbirth
    • Includes post surgical procedures
    • Includes skin rashes
    • Doctor’s statement must include
      • “May return to activity without restrictions”
      • or “May return to exercise/dance without restrictions”
      • or “may return to activity/exercise at own discretion”
      • Physician’s name, address and phone
      • Member’s name
      • Current date
    • Memberships will not be placed on hold due to illness/injury
    • Exceptions – a release is not required for standard cold/flu or stomach flu.

Parties additional T&C:

  • Party contract must be hand signed and returned within 72 business hours or party will be cancelled without refund of the deposit
  • Guests may not wear shoes, socks or footies but must dance in bare feet at the party
  • Photography, but not video, is allowed during parties
  • Guests who appear under the influence of or carry the odor of mood altering substances/alcohol will not be permitted to participate in the class and no refunds or credits will be given
  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Parties must be paid in full no less than 14 days prior to the party date
  • Parties cancelled with at least 72 hours notice may be rescheduled based on availability with a $150 rescheduling fee
    • Parties may be rescheduled with at least 30 days notice with no rescheduling fee
    • Parties cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit all fees and will not receive credit or refund
  • Guests must arrive at least 15 minutes early to register and sign waivers before the scheduled start time of your party
    • If all guests are not present, the party must begin on time as scheduled or you may choose to begin late and lose time from your party while you wait for your guests to arrive.
  • Pregnant women may not participate at parties but will be charged if present to observe
  • Minors under the age of 18 may not participate or be present at parties
  • Any additional guests above the minimum/maximum number must be paid in cash to the instructor in the exact amount before the party will begin.
    • The party hostess (person who booked the party) is responsible for collecting money from all guests and then paying the party instructor. The party instructor will NOT accept money from any of your guests individually.
  • In cases of overpayment when guest have not been prepared to provide exact amounts in cash, a refund will be mailed to the party hostess only, within 10 business days following the party
  • Guests must leave the facility within 15 minutes of the end of the party. They may not use the facilities for applying make up, fixing hair, etc.
    • Should any guests remain beyond that time the party organizer’s credit card will be kept on file and will be charged $30 for 15 minutes and $10 for every 5 minutes after that.
